My first day back at the gym

Today I got up contemplating on whether or not I want to go to the gym.  After an hour or so after checking emails I decided to get off the couch and go to the gym.

I did an upper body workout since I haven’t been working out in 2 weeks, I wanted to get in as much as I can.

What I did today:

Back

Hammer Strength Pull down 3 sets 45 lbs each side 15 reps

Unilateral Rows 3 sets 40 lbs 1st set last 2 sets 30 lbs 15 reps

Chest

Seated Cable Chest Press 3 sets 40 lbs each side 15 reps

Smith Machine Bench Press 3 sets 1 st set 15 lbs on each side last 2 sets 12.5 lbs on each side 15 reps

Shoulders

Seated Dumbbell Shoulder Press 3 sets 12 lbs each 15 reps

Single Arm Lateral Raises on Decline Bench 8 lbs each 15 reps

Biceps

Alternating Dumbbell Curls 3 sets 12 lbs each 15 reps each arm

Hammer Curls 3 sets 8 lbs 15 reps

Triceps Super-Set

Cable Tricep Extensions 3 sets 40 lbs 20 reps

Cable Tricep Press Downs 3 sets 40 lbs 15 reps

That’s my workout for today. Tomorrow is abs and cardio. Then I’m having fun on this holiday weekend….
